The Pre-procedure
Avoid any night creams 2 days before the CO2 Laser procedure.
The Procedure
Topical anaesthetic is applied 45-60 minutes beforehand. Treatment typically takes 20-60 minutes depending on the area and modality (fractional vs. ablative).
Recovery & Aftercare
There is definitely downtime of 3-5 days. Blackish peeling skin is seen. Cooling, occlusive dressings, and clear aftercare instructions are provided. Post-procedure care should be followed as prescribed by the Doctor. Review is at 4-6 weeks. Final results are visible at 3-6 months as collagen remodelling completes. Multiple sessions may be recommended.
